Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed that striker Leigh Griffiths won’t be ready for the weekend with a return date looking likely to be next week.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of Celtic’s tie against Inverness on Sunday, the Northern Irish boss revealed that the Scotland international won’t be available for the clash.
The press conference was quoted on the club’s official Twitter account with Rodgers revealing when the 26-year-old forward would be available.

Griffiths hasn’t featured for the Hoops since scoring against Aberdeen on August 27th.
He was in impressive form before picking up an injury with seven goals in nine appearances and Rodgers will be keen for him to return to his side.
However, the Scottish giants also have summer signing Moussa Dembele in their ranks upfront now and the youngster has hit the ground running at his new club.
The young French star has featured in 12 encounters scoring an impressive seven goals following his move from Fulham.
Celtic have started the new season in impressive form with 12 points from their opening four matches and they will be eager to continue this run with fierce rivals Rangers returning to the top flight.
