Rodney Marsh: I may have to rethink my valuation of this Tottenham player

By Harvey Byrne

Former England international Rodney Marsh has shared that he may have to reevaluate his initial evaluation of Tottenham star Harry Kane.

Back in 2015 Marsh appeared to be ahead of the rest as he valued the then 21-year-old striker at £100million.

However, two years on and Kane has continued to impress with a stunning strike rate in front of goal.

The young forward didn’t hang about against Everton on Sunday afternoon either as he bagged two goals in the 3-2 win at White Hart Lane.

This prompted active social media user Marsh into stating he may have to rethink his thoughts on Kane on his personal Twitter account during the match, while also hailing Spurs’ play.

Kane made his debut for Tottenham in August 2011 in a Europa League clash against Hearts.

He had previously had a loan spell at Leyton Orient in League One and then after he had spells in the Championship with Millwall and Leiecester alongside struggling to beak into the Norwich team in the Premier League during the 2012-13 season.

However, he has definitely surpassed expectations since and is continuing to do so with a return of 88 goals in 155 appearances in total for Tottenham

Kane is very much considered hot property around the world of football, but with five years still on his contract at Spurs many will be hoping he stays at the club for and beyond the foreseeable future.
