Rodrigo Muniz accident spotted in alarming Fulham footage

Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz appears to have suffered a worrying slip at the training ground in footage that has emerged online.

The Brazilian forward has featured 21 times in the Premier League for the Cottagers this season, with only five of those appearances being starts.

Muniz has scored three goals for the Whites, but has had to play second-fiddle to Raul Jimenez who has been in good form for Fulham.

As Fulham prepare to take on Man United on Sunday (26 January), the forward was captured on footage slipping as he went to walk inside Fullham’s facilities and falling awkwardly.

The Brazilian hopped to his feet after the fall, but concerningly to fans, was seen limping away afterwards in a clip posted on X by EuroFoot.

Fulham in need of a striker if they want to qualify for European football this season

Football Insider Verdict

The West London side begun the season well, but have since slipped behind the pack of teams chasing European football.

One of the major issues for manager Marco Silva has been the lack of a consistent goalscorer up top, a problem that has not been resolved since Aleksandar Mitrovic’s departure in August 2023 to Al Hilal [Sky Sports].

Jimenez has been an important part of the Whites’ link-up play this season, but his tally of eight goals also includes three penalties.

Fulham had previously been linked with a temporary move for Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, but there has been no more news of that move and with time running out in the January transfer window, Silva may have to make do with his current attacking duo.
