Romelu Lukaku’s Chelsea career could take one final twist after deal agreed – pundit
Alan Hutton has suggested Romelu Lukaku’s Chelsea career could take one final twist after the striker agreed to return to Inter Milan on loan.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aston Villa defender believes Lukaku, 29, could regain favour with the London club after he his loan spell at the San Siro.
According to The Times (22 June), Chelsea have agreed to let Lukaku rejoin the Italian club for a loan fee of around £6.9million.

The Belgian international joined the Blues for a club-record fee of £97.5million in August and put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
However, he struggled to make an impact upon his Premier League return.
When asked if he thought there would be a place in the squad for Lukaku when he returns to Chelsea, Hutton told Football Insider: “Possibly.
“Look if he goes back there [Inter Milan] and scores a lot of goals and gets his confidence high, then maybe somebody else will buy him.
“Or he can come back to Chelsea and possibly fit back in.
“It’s just been a transfer that’s not worked for both parties, it’s just not worked at all which is a shame because I think he’s obviously got the ability.
“For whatever reason it’s just not worked when he’s been in England.”

Lukaku made 26 league appearances on his return to Chelsea last season, scoring eight goals and providing just one assist.
In his final season at Inter before moving to London, the forward scored 24 goals in 36 appearances, as well as bagging 10 assists.
