Romeo Lavia sends brutal five-word message to Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer
Chelsea youngster Romeo Lavia sent a cryptic message to teammate Cole Palmer after his four-goal haul in their win over Brighton on Saturday (September 28).
Palmer, 22, became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a game, and only the second player to score four twice, alongside Robbie Fowler.
Striker Nicolas Jackson squared the ball to Palmer so he could deftly slide it into an open goal before the star man doubled his tally with a penalty just seven minutes later.
Three minutes after that, he scored a stunning free-kick, rounding off his record-breaking haul ten minutes later with a smart near-post finish.
Romeo Lavia unimpressed with Chelsea star Cole Palmer breaking records
Lavia, 20, missed most of last season due to ankle and hamstring injuries, with the hamstring issue reoccurring at the start of this campaign, forcing him to miss Chelsea’s last six games.
The young Belgian made his return against Brighton, replacing Enzo Fernandez for the last eleven minutes of the game.
The defensive midfielder took to Instagram to post an image of what he had written on Palmer’s match ball, saying ‘still a mid player regardless’.

The two players came through Man City’s academy together before both joining the West London club last summer.
Enzo Maresca’s side next face Belgian club Gent in their first Europa Conference League league phase game of the season at Stamford Bridge on Thursday (October 3).
