Ronald Koeman states what was unbelievable after Everton suffer FA Cup defeat
By Amir Mir
Ronald Koeman has stated how “unbelievable” it was that Everton “lost control” during their FA Cup defeat against Leicester despite scoring the opener.
The Toffees were beaten 2-1 during the third round tie at Goodison Park with Foxes substitute Ahmed Musa scoring a brace.
Striker Romelu Lukaku had given the home side the lead on 63 minutes when he slotted home from close-range.
Koeman’s side collapsed thereafter when Musa levelled the scores three minutes later before he netted the winner with a cool finish to the anger of the home support.
After the game, Koeman posted this message to supporters as he tried to explain the manner in which they lost the game as posted on his personal Twitter account.

Koeman joined Everton in the summer from Premier League rivals Southampton to replace the sacked Roberto Martinez.
Since his appointment, he has seen his side produce mixed performances and witness his team get knocked out of two domestic competitions.
They were beaten at home to Championship side Norwich in September to make an early departure from the EFL Cup.
Now, they find themselves out of the FA Cup as they can now only focus their mind on the Premier League.
The Merseyside club are seventh in the league table on 30 points from 20 games, nine behind Manchester United who occupy sixth spot.
