Ronaldo Vieira sends Twitter message to Leeds fans following Brentford defeat

Leeds midfielder Ronaldo Vieira has urged fans not to give up on their promotion hopes following a disastrous defeat to Brentford on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old took to his personal Twitter account on Wednesday to urge the Leeds supporters not to lose faith in the club’s bid to secure promotion to the Premier League season, despite their latest defeat.

Vieira was an unused substitute as Leeds were beaten 2-0 by Brentford at Griffin Park, which dealt a major potential blow to the club’s end of season ambitions.
Leeds had earlier been beaten 1-0 by promotion rivals Reading on Saturday, and the rare back-to-back defeats reduced their play-off advantage to just five points.
However, the ball is still very much in the Leeds court heading into the final six matches of the Championship promotion race, and Vieira has urged the fans not to lose faith.

Garry Monk’s side have now won just one of their last five league matches, but their excellent form throughout the remainder of the campaign has ensured they may still land on their feet following the disappointing defeats.
They can take pleasure from the fact that promotion rivals Huddersfield and Fulham were also beaten on Tuesday night, which helped maintain their own advantage.
But the race to finish in the play-offs is expected to become even more competitive between now and the end of the campaign, and Leeds cannot afford another slip up.
They return to Elland Road on Saturday to host a Preston side that thumped Bristol City 5-0 in their last outing.
