Rangers fans have destroyed Josh Windass for his anonymous performance in the 2-1 win against Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday.
Windass, 24, was back in Graeme Murty’s starting line-up after he started on the bench for the 4-0 defeat to Celtic last week, however the attacking midfielder barely had any impact on proceedings in Govan this weekend.
The former Accrington Stanley ace, who was linked with a move back to England in January, struggled to threaten the Hearts defence at all in the first-half as the Light Blues got back to winning ways.
Rangers fans were disgusted by Windass’ performance and took to social media to tear into him as his poor form continues.
One angry Ger claimed that the player was “rotten” against the Jam Tarts.

Windass is a baffling player. Goes missing for the bulk of games yet almost always grabs a goal

Groundsman needs to get on at half time and fill in that bloody hole that Windass constantly hides in ???? (Jock Wallace anecdote!????????)

Windass has been a mainstay of the Rangers team this season, appearing 40 times in all competitions and scoring 17 goals and supplying eight assists in the process.
He was in terrific form in January and February, but since early March his form has nosedived and that has likely played a massive role in the resulting downturn in the Gers’ results.
In other Rangers news, fans have raved about this 42-year-old and have urged the club to get him hired.
