Roy Keane aims savage dig at Ruben Amorim after latest Manchester United disaster
Roy Keane slammed Ruben Amorim for his lack of adaptability as Manchester United were thrashed 3-0 by Manchester City on Sunday.
On 14 September, Man City beat Man United thanks to goals from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, who notched a brace.
The Etihad Stadium outfit bounced back to their consecutive defeats at the hands of Tottenham and Brighton, whereas the Red Devils failed to build on their previous victory over Burnley.
Meanwhile, Manchester United summer signing Benjamin Sesko struggled to threaten, as Pep Guardiola’s side raced to their second win of the season.

Roy Keane hits out at Ruben Amorim as Manchester United lose derby
Former Red Devils striker Dion Dublin called Manchester United ‘lame’ for their defeat at the Etihad Stadium on 14 September.
Meanwhile, Amorim has faced criticism for failing to change his system, even though the Old Trafford club have performed poorly throughout the majority of his tenure.
However, following Man United’s defeat to Man City, Amorim insisted that he isn’t going to alter his philosophy.
Meanwhile, speaking in his press conference, Guardiola explained how his Manchester City side had adapted.
Responding to the 54-year-old’s comments in the Sky Sports studio, Keane said: “It’s great to hear one of the world’s greatest managers ever talking about ‘adapting’. He adapts his teams. He’s got the Napoli game coming up and he’ll have to change for that. He’s happy to adapt.”
Super Sunday host David Jones subsequently joked that Keane’s comments were ‘loaded.’
Ruben Amorim must seriously consider a system change
While the 40-year-old is keen to defend his footballing philosophy, Amorim has faced calls to be sacked by Manchester United, having now suffered 20 defeats in 47 games in charge of the Old Trafford outfit across all competitions.

Grimsby (A) | 2-2 D (Grimsby won on penalties) |

Man City (A) | 3-0 L |
It is clear that, even though he became Red Devils boss last November, the Man United squad have struggled to adjust to his methods, while they lost the midfield battle against Man City.
Currently, it seems as though Amorim is not capable of steering Manchester United back to the upper echelons of the Premier League table, having guided them to just 15th last term, as well as suffering a defeat to Tottenham in May’s Europa League final.
Should the North West club suffer an arguably likely defeat to Chelsea on Saturday, 20 September, the former Sporting boss will heap further pressure on himself.
Last month’s embarrassing Carabao Cup defeat to Grimsby Town already damaged the Red Devils’ chances of winning silverware this season.
