Roy Keane and Ian Wright are in agreement over Phil Foden after what he did for England
Thomas Tuchel may have found a solution to one problem during England’s comfortable win over Serbia.
Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze netted the goals as England won 2-0 at Wembley to continue their perfect World Cup qualification record.
England had already qualified for the World Cup in the previous international break, and could win all their matches without conceding a goal against Albania in their final game.
Tuchel left some major names out his England squad during this international break, but the German is still experimenting tactically on the pitch ahead of next summers tournament.

Thomas Tuchel experiments with Phil Foden
Matt Le Tissier was pleased to see Phil Foden back in the England squad, and the Man City star grabbed the assist for Eze’s spectacular strike.
Foden though was deployed in the number nine position, after replacing Harry Kane during the second half.
On ITV, [13 November], pundits Ian Wright and Roy Keane believe Tuchel could have solved one issue in attack, with concerns over how England could set up if Kane was unavailable.
“He can take it on the half turn [Foden], running at you in that kind of situation with players right side and left side. His pass into Eze was perfect,” Ian Wright said.
Roy Keane continued: “You can get that wrong when you’re a player like Foden and you’ve got time players can mess that up and he was a bit earlier in a bit of his earlier play.
“The pace of the pass, the weight, the quality, fantastic goal. Brilliant.

“In situations like that, yeh the game is stretched and obviously they’re chasing a goal Serbia, you couldn’t think of a better player to be in possession in them areas then Phil Foden, especially if he’s got runners either side of him.”
“He can play we know he can pass, we saw the quality of the pass to Eze for that goal there that’s not a problem,” Wright added.
“I’m just pleased that he might be able to find a position for himself where he can go forward and start to show people what he’s got.”

Foden form to be rewarded at Man City
Football Insider exclusively revealed that Man City were to open contract talks with Foden, to tie down the 25-year-old to a new long-term deal.
Foden is also keen to stay at the club, with Man City chasing down Arsenal to reclaim the Premier League crown this season.
The Citizens are currently four points behind the Gunners in the table, and Foden’s revitalised form this season could be crucial alongside Erling Haaland’s goals.
