'As steady as a baby gazelle' - Liverpool fans destroy 27-year-old despite 5-1 win v Brighton
Liverpool fans have slammed captain Jordan Henderson for his poor performance in the 5-1 win at Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds moved up to fourth place in the Premier League table with a dominant performance, thanks to goals from Emre Can, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho and an own goal by Lewis Dunk.
However, Liverpool fans were angered by the performance of their captain Henderson, who was playing in central midfield.

Any midfielder in the world can do the same job Henderson does in this team. He’s nothing special.

Jurgen Klopp’s side totally outplayed Brighton at the AMEX Stadium and took the lead with a powerful header from Can from a corner.
They doubled their lead moments later, when Firmino finished off a brilliant team move. The Brazilian made it 3-0 after the break after being well-found by Mohamed Salah.

Brighton were then awarded a penalty after what appeared to be a push by Henderson on Shane Duffy, Glenn Murray made no mistake and sent the ball into the top corner.
Countinho made it 4-1 with a brilliant free-kick before an own goal by Dunk confirmed the emphatic scoreline.
Liverpool are up to fourth in the Premier League table, but could move back down to fifth place, with Arsenal facing Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in this evening’s late kick-off.
In other Liverpool news, midfielder James Milner has admitted that he is surprised by the recent form of this Reds attacker.
