Insider wowed by ‘terrific’ Man United player who’s spearheaded the team’s transformation
Ruben Amorim has come under a lot of pressure during his time at Man United and many had expected him to be sacked earlier this season.
However, Man United’s 4-2 win against Brighton at Old Trafford is their third consecutive victory and has eased any lingering pressure over the manager’s position.
Previous victories against both Sunderland, which was dubbed a must-win for Amorim, and Liverpool have moved United up to sixth in the table after nine games played.
This comes after Sir Jim Ratcliffe has decided to support Amorim and revealed he would be prepared to give the boss as long as three years to turn their recent results around.
He has since been proven right to lend the boss his support, with positive signs that their recent form is set to continue for some time yet.

Ruben Amorim making progress after Man United backing
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 21 October that Amorim can ease sack pressure at Old Trafford by putting together a run of form.
After recent victories, the boss looks to have pulled off an impressive U-turn, with their performances across those games receiving plenty of positive acclaim.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the boss is making positive progress to secure his position.
“There’s definitely been huge progress made at Man United,” he told Football Insider.
“A lot of the issues I had with the way they were playing have been resolved, they’re getting tight to people and being more aggressive in their play.
“Brighton are a good side, if you give them space they can hurt you, but United dealt with them well.
“These are positive results and positive performances for the manager to build on.
“Bryan Mbeumo has made a big difference, he’s been terrific, but there are lots of subtle changes being made which have made them a better side overall.

“Of course, it’s not the finished product, I still think the system has its issues and they’re not going to win every game, but it’s the best position they’ve been in under Amorim.
“It helps that they’re not in Europe, they play once per week, but you have to give credit where it’s due they’ve made serious improvements recently.”
Questions about Amorim’s future linger at Man United
Football Insider warned that Man United are one game away from crisis, with every defeat set to pile the pressure back on Amorim.
Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher has questioned Amorim’s position and insisted the board have put themselves in a tricky position by backing him so publicly.
There is optimism that their recent purple patch will continue throughout the season despite some doubters remaining, although time will tell.
Football Insider revealed on 10 October that Man United could be forced to sack Amorim despite the part-owner’s public backing if their on-field issues continue.
Failing to beat the likes of Fulham, Brentford and Grimsby have heightened concerns and any similar defeats are likely to ramp up the pressure again.
