Ruben Amorim leads Manchester United to 33-year low with nightmare derby defeat
Ruben Amorim has put Manchester United in a disgraceful situation as the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City has set an unwanted record.
Erling Haaland scored twice for Man City against Man United as the Cityzens ridiculed the poor structure of the Red Devils’ set-up.
Roy Keane felt Man United’s Luke Shaw “threw in the towel” against Man City as the Portuguese manager was left perplexed once again with what to do with his underwhelming side.
Frustrations in the Manchester derby even saw Man United’s Altay Bayindir and Bryan Mbeumo involved in a shouting match as City thrashed their neighbours.
Continuing to be in a perilous position, Amorim has now hit a new low as head coach at Old Trafford after the diabolical result.

Ruben Amorim sets worst league start since 1992-93 as Manchester United crumble once again
Having narrowly lost to Arsenal on the opening day of the season, the Red Devils had managed to get their season somewhat back on track.
A nervy draw against Fulham backed up by a whirlwind 3-2 victory against Burnley did restore some faith amongst the United faithful.
However, defeat to their close neighbours means that Amorim has led the red half of Manchester to their worst start to a league season since 1992-93 with just four points from four matches.
Indeed, that campaign came under Sir Alex Ferguson but there is a clear disparity between the two managers and the squads as it would seem hard to believe the Portuguese could turn things around and drastically win trophies like the Scotsman.
Mixed reviews on Manchester United signings as Bryan Mbeumo tries to inspire
Despite the awful displays from the Red Devils week-in-week-out, I’ve been hugely impressed by the resolve of the Cameroonian.
The 26-year-old has consistently been the source of a comeback in fixtures with flashes of brilliance to make something happen out of nothing.
The same can be said for Matheus Cunha who struck up a great partnership with the former Brentford man before his injury which at least provides some hope to fans.

Benjamin Sesko continues to be a liability and is clearly way out of his depth at Old Trafford, failing to hit the back of the net after four Premier League matches.
Yet, looking across the dreadful United team there doesn’t seem to be sign of a spark being ignited with so many players underperforming.
Amorim can try all he can to get his tactics and philosophy over to his team but onus is on the shambolic cohort to muster up something to save the Portuguese’s job.
