Man United fans are concerned Ruben Amorim will face the sack early in the coming season after his stance on the club’s transfer plans was revealed.
Reports have claimed Amorim is content with the squad currently available to him and is not expecting a new striker to be brought in imminently. [via MEN]
That is despite last season’s dismal season which saw United finish 15th in the Premier League alongside major concerns in key positions including at centre-forward.
Former Old Trafford chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider in March that Rasmus Hojlund has no future at Man United amid plans to replace him this summer.
Instead, following the signings of both Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, supporters are fearing their business for the summer may already be over.
That is despite ongoing clamour for the club to strengthen up front, in midfield and in goal.

Football Insider exclusively revealed on 25 July that Man United are done spending “huge” money this summer following Mbeumo’s arrival for £71million.
Finance expert Dan Plumley explained that the club’s difficulties cashing in on the likes of Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho has caused further issues in the window.
Concerns about United’s ability to spend have been raised since prior to the transfer window, with player sales previously earmarked to help facilitate big deals.
Brown told Football Insider in May that United are at risk of losing key players after failing to qualify for the Champions League despite their initial ambitious plans.

Taking to social media in reaction to the latest development, fans have been left astonished, as many claimed Amorim could now be sacked as a result.
