Ryan Gravernberch sends message to Liverpool fans after what he did vs Palace
Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch thanked the fans after his impressive performance in their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday (October 5).
The 22-year-old has been a revelation for Liverpool under new manager Arne Slot, becoming the number six they were desperate to sign in the summer transfer window.
The Dutchman would have played every minute for Liverpool across all competitions so far this season if he hadn’t been substituted in the 89th minute in their 2-0 over Brentford earlier in the season.
Gravenberch’s performance against Palace was arguably one of his finest in a Liverpool shirt, having completed 72 out of 78 passes, giving him a pass accuracy of 92 percent.
Not only was he an attacking threat, he was able to break up play and recycle possession at a remarkable rate, winning three ground duels, two aerial duels, and making two interceptions.
Ryan Gravenberch repaying Liverpool faith
The central midfielder has been integral for Liverpool in their post-Jurgen Klopp era, helping them to the top of the Premier League table after their opening seven games.
He will now join up with his international teammates during the international break as the Netherlands prepare for UEFA Nations League games against Hungary and Germany.
Gravernberch took to Instagram to thank fans for their support after Slot’s side secured all three points at Selhurst Park.

Liverpool will face an in-form Chelsea side at Anfield once the international break is over as they continue to fight for the Premier League title.
Just three days later Gravenberch will have to turn his attention to the Champions League for their trip to RB Leipzig.
