Ryan Sessegnon gives emotional response to key Fulham exit
Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon has shared an emotional response to the news that a key figure is leaving Craven Cottage this summer.
The West London club are guaranteed to finish in the top half of the Premier League if they defeat Champions League chasers Manchester City on Sunday, 25 May.
Marco Silva’s men successfully defeated local rivals Brentford 3-2 last time out, thanks to goals from Raul Jimenez, Tom Cairney, and Wales international Harry Wilson.
Fulham’s encounter with Man City on Saturday will also mark Cairney’s last outing at Craven Cottage after he announced his upcoming departure.

Silva’s men announced on Friday, 23 May, that coach Stuart Gray will be leaving the West London outfit following Sunday’s encounter with Pep Guardiola‘s side.
Sessegnon shared an emotional response to the news via his Instagram story [23 May] as he wrote: “One of the best guys in football. What a guy! Big Stu.”

Fulham will hope to retain Silva this summer
Silva has overseen yet another strong season in the Craven Cottage dugout, guiding Fulham to 15 Premier League victories before Sunday’s encounter with former top-flight winners Manchester City.
The former Everton boss also guided the West London side to the FA Cup quarter-finals, where they were defeated by eventual champions Crystal Palace.
It is no surprise, then, that the 47-year-old’s services have attracted interest from the likes of Nottingham Forest, who could still seal Champions League football.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s argument with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis during their recent 2-2 draw with local rivals Leicester City showcased the existing tensions at the City Ground, and the East Midlands side could turn their attention towards Silva.
Tottenham have also set their sights on the ex-Watford manager, as Ange Postecoglou’s future in North London remains in the balance even though Spurs beat Manchester United in the Europa League final on Wednesday, 21 May.
