Sacko makes Instagram claim over Leeds promotion chances ahead of Aston Villa clash

By Will Butcher

Hadi Sacko has claimed Leeds can finish anywhere in the Championship this season as he suggested there is no limit to the team’s rise.

The 22-year-old winger was in superb form on the right flank for the Yorkshire giants on Boxing Day, as he scored his side’s second in the 4-1 away win against Preston.

Sacko called for Leeds to “maintain their form” on his personal Instagram account, before stating that Garry Monk’s side could reach any position in the Championship.

“Who knows what we may reach at the end of the season,” said Sacko.

The French winger, currently on loan from Sporting Lisbon, has been in magnificent form on the right flank for Monk’s side this season.

Showing both speed and skill, Leeds’ number 24 has scored two goals and provided another four in assists for the former Champions League outfit during his 26 league and cup games.

The former Bordeaux winger is set to feature on Thursday, as Leeds face Aston Villa in the Midlands.

Sacko will look to replicate the performance that almost single handedly earned Leeds a 2-0 win at Elland Road in the reverse fixture, which saw the speed merchant dominate left-back Jordan Amavi.

A win for Sacko and the rest of his side could see them move as high as third position in the Championship, if Huddersfield and Reading drop points.

In other Leeds news, this Premier League player should be signed by Monk as his contract is set to end in June 2017.
