Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane believes that his side can finish inside the top four this season.
The Reds face a tough battle to secure a Champions League spot and were not helped by a 3-1 defeat to Leicester in their last match.
The result means they are fifth in the Premier League table and a point behind fourth-placed Arsenal, who also have a game in hand.
Jurgen Klopp’s side face a pivotal game on Saturday as they host Arsenal at Anfield.
Mane is confident that Liverpool can manager to make up the ground on their rivals and earn a place in Europe’s elite club competition for next season.

“Yes, I think we can (finish top four),” Mane told the Daily Mirror. “We have a great team spirit in this dressing room. Win, lose or draw, which can always happen, we always come back and we are always looking forward for a positive reaction.”
Liverpool do have the advantage over their rivals that they have the least congested fixture list to contend with.
The Merseyside club only have the 12 Premier League games remaining this season, while all of their top six rivals still have at least one other cup competition to balance.
Mane will be hoping they can use that to help and they should be fully fresh going into every game, which will help Klopp deploy his high intensity style.
The 24-year-old has been a critical part of Liverpool’s season and is a regular starter on the right wing.
He has made 25 appearances this season across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and supplying seven assists.
