Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez has agreed terms to a whopping £14million contract with Manchester United, and the deal is just waiting on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to a report.
The Telegraph report that Alexis Sanchez has agreed to a four-and-a-half year deal, that will see him take home £14million after tax.
The report also states that the deal in its entirety is worth over £60million, when you take into account the £30million value of the player, agent’s fees and signing bonus.
It is this lucrative sum that put Manchester City off from signing the Chilean international, as they did not want to part ways with that sort of money for a player who is out of contract in six months’ time.
The transfer is set to go ahead once Henrikh Mkhitaryan agrees terms with Arsenal.
Football Insider verdict:
Jose Mourinho looks to have worked some magic to steal Alexis Sanchez from his local rivlas Manchester City, as the deal is more likely to happen then not. Arsene Wnger will miss the services of the Chilean international, who has won three major honours since moving to the Emirates – and must seek an immediate replacement if he is to keep Arsenal’s european hopes alive. Sanchez has been one of the Premier League’s best player’s since his move from Barcelona, and United are getting him at a cut price considering the inflation of the Transfer Market. It’s a steal, regardless of his contract situation.
