Savinho exit increasingly likely as Man City line up new attacking additions
Manchester City could consider letting Savinho leave this summer if they add to their squad in the attacking areas, sources have told Football Insider.
Pep Guardiola has worked hard to keep hold of the Brazilian in recent months, but there is still a chance that the door could be opened for him to leave the Etihad Stadium ahead of next season.
The Citizens are expected to have another busy summer transfer window, and sources say that the winger could yet find himself on the chopping block if he falls further down the pecking order.
Man City spent heavily to add to their squad last summer, and while they have no current plans to lose Savinho at the moment, a similar effort in the market this time around could ultimately result in him being sold.

Savinho was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham last summer, only for Guardiola to ultimately stand in the way of that link progressing any further.
The 21-year-old was then rewarded with a new contract back in October, a deal which is set to keep him at the Eithad until the summer of 2031, unless the situation changes before then.
The youngster has started just five games in the Premier League this term, as he has been unable to break into the side past the likes of Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki for large parts of the campaign.
Antoine Semenyo’s £64million arrival from Bournemouth in the January transfer window has only exacerbated the competition for places in City’s attack even further, and if that continues this summer, then it could spell the end for Savinho.

Guardiola and Co. have been keen to try and regenerate the squad in the last few windows, and with more deals likely to be on the cards again this time around, it could alter the picture for the likes of Savinho.
Will Tottenham pursue Man City deal again?
Former Man City financial advisor Stefan Borson told Football Insider at the start of February that Tottenham would have chased Savinho again in the January transfer window, had he not picked up an injury.
The Lilywhites were persistent in their pursuit of the wideman last summer, and evidently view him as a long-term target to bolster their ranks, given that they saw three bids rejected for him last year.
They are currently facing a battle to retain their Premier League status for next season, and if they ultimately do beat the drop, then it would be no surprise to see them move back towards Savinho.
It remains unclear as to whether City would play ball if the North London outfit did come back to the table with another offer, but their view towards Savinho could yet change drastically in the coming months.
