What Rangers must do with these five rising stars after Caixinha revolution

COMMENT By Will Butcher

Pedro Caixinha has conducted a transfer revolution at Rangers this summer by adding nine new players to his first team, but what does that mean for the Gers’ rising stars?

The former Santos Laguna manager recognised that change was needed after finishing a huge 39 points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

That has seen the 54-time Scottish champions act quickly by bringing Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Graham Dorrans, Carlos Pena, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos to Ibrox.

But Caixinha has now blocked the path to the first team for a handful of the Gers’ promising young stars, and must decide whether to keep his best teenage stars or send them on loan.

Football Insider considers the futures of five Auchenhowie products, with an 18-year-old ace in desperate need of gaining experience at a lower league side before returning to Ibrox.
