Scott McTominay’s Man United days are numbered after Sky update – pundit
Scott McTominay may be told he can leave Man United this summer.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 25-year-old’s future.
Man United are set for an overhaul this summer with incoming boss Erik ten Hag already deciding Aaron Wan-Bissaka is surplus to requirements, as per Sky Sports (19 May).

McTominay remains a key player for the Red Devils, making 37 appearances in all competitions during the 2021-22 season.
However, McAvennie insists he is another player who could be told by Ten Hag that his services are no longer required.
“I like McTominay, I do,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“But is he good enough for where Man United want to be? I don’t think so.
“Man United want to be right at the top of European football and I don’t think Scott is at that level.
“It sounds like Ten Hag is going to be ruthless based on the Wan-Bissaka stuff, that is exactly what they need.
“That just says to me that anyone who isn’t good enough is not going to be there next season.
“We will have to see what happens in pre-season but I think Scott could be one of the casualties, I think he will be told he can leave.
“I think he will hold his hands up and say he hasn’t been good enough.”

McTominay has made 170 appearances for Man United.
He played the full 90 minutes as his side post to Crystal Palace on Sunday (22 May).
In other news, Man United have been tipped to win the race for Sven Botman after a source’s update.
