Scott Parker is the ‘right man’ after Leeds source’s next manager reveal – Agbonlahor

Leeds United have been advised to appoint Scott Parker as manager on a short term basis.

Speaking Exclusively to Football Insider, Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that the Whites should hire Parker to help with the promotion push, but not a long term project.

Football Insider exclusively revealed on Sunday (25 June) that Patrick Vieira, Daniel Farke and Scott Parker are all in the frame to become Leeds United’s next manager

Football Insider revealed on Saturday (24 June) that the Whites want to make an appointment in the next week as pre-season approaches.

The Yorkshire giants are still without a permanent successor for Sam Allardyce despite having just days remaining before the players return for pre-season training.

With an appointment on the horizon, Agbonlahor believes that Parker would be a good choice.

“I think Scott Parker is the right man, they should get it done,” He told Football Insider.

“After getting relegated you focus on bringing in a manager for a year, and then you get change personnel, that is how it is, football is ruthless.

“It’s all about promotion, complete projects are more for when you are in the Premier League and you are newly presented with it.

“Leeds don’t care how they play, it’s just all about getting promoted this season, and that does not require a project.

“Managers also leave when they have better opportunity, and football is ruthless.”
