Scott Sinclair has hailed the qualities of his new Celtic teammate Jonny Hayes following his arrival at the club.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have already secured a move for Hayes this summer from Aberdeen and he has arrived at Parkhead on a three-year deal.
The 29-year-old secured a move to the Scottish giants after a successful seasons with the Dons as he helped them to second int he league table ahead of Rangers.

“Jonny Hayes is a good player,” Sinclair told the Scotsman. “All the players trust the manager to bring in the players he believes should be added to the squad and his arrival is great for competition.”
Sinclair was then asked whether his new teammate Hayes was the best non-Celtic player last season: “Well, he made it into the top four of the PFA Scotland Player of the Year nominations, so he must have been.”
Hayes arrives at Celtic with big expectancy after tearing up the Scottish top flight last year.
The Irishman made 44 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and supplying 24 assists in return.
He was listed alongside Celtic trio Moussa Dembele, Stuart Armstrong and Sinclair for the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award, with the latter scooping the prize.
Hayes is now expected to fill the void left by loanee Patrick Roberts following his return to Manchester City.
Celtic could have a potentially threatening attack of Hayes and Sinclair on their wings next season, something that should terrorise most defences in Scotland.
