Scott Wright has played his last game for Rangers after what fans spotted v Kyiv

Rangers fans have been left fuming at Scott Wright after the winger’s performance in the Champions League qualifying clash v Dynamo Kyiv.

Philippe Clement’s side drew 1-1 in Poland courtesy of a 94th-minute Cyriel Dessers strike, but despite the elation of a late equaliser, the display left plenty to be desired.

They headed into half-time 1-0 down after Andriy Yarmolenko put the Ukrainian side ahead after 37 minutes and looked hard-pressed to get back into it.

However, Clement opted for a change at half-time and took Wright off in favour of Jefte – the second time he has been hooked off in two games.

The winger suffered the same fate in the opening SPFL fixture against Hearts, leading fans to question why he remains in the starting lineup.

He was labelled “anonymous” and “horrendous” as supporters raged at his lack of impact on the crucial Champions League tie.

As a result, every game in the qualification process is crucial, and improvements need to be made if they are to have the best chance of reaching the league phase.

Many fans are now insisting this should be Wright’s final appearance for Rangers as he continues to prove that he is not good enough for this level.
