Scout report: Everything Tottenham fans need to know about Millwall
By Will Butcher
Tottenham will be desperately looking to avoid an FA Cup giant killing on Sunday as they play host to London rivals Millwall.
Neil Harris’ League One outfit come into the game in wonderful form, after going almost four months unbeaten in 17 league and cup encounters.
With a place in the last four of the competition up for grabs at White Hart Lane, here are three of Millwall’s star players Spurs must watch out for on Sunday.
If the Lions are to find the back of the net against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, the likelihood is that it will be through hotshot Gregory. Millwall’s number nine has found the back of the net 14 times this season, as well as providing another six goals in assists during his 34 league and cup appearances. Set to lead the line once again ahead of Sunday’s clash, Pochettino’s defensive selection must deal with Gregory’s speed and explosive finishing from close range if they are to secure their 20th clean sheet of the season.

The central defender has been crucial to Millwall’s impressive season in England’s third tier, as he prepares to deal with either Harry Kane or Vincent Janssen on Sunday. Making a huge 40 league and cup appearances this season already, Webster has kept 17 clean sheets. Conceding just two goals since January 7, Webster has seen 12 of those clean sheets come in 2017 and will be hoping to maintain his form at the back as the Lions look to defy the odds and progress into the final four of the FA Cup.
Providing the Lions’ creative spark, Onyedinma will look to put Millwall’s wingers and strikers in behind the Tottenham defence. Wearing the number 10 shirt, Onyedinma has provided eight assists this season as well as scoring six of his own goals and will be looking to hit top form in front of the television cameras. Able to play anywhere in the final third, the attacker is out of contract in June despite orchestrating Millwall’s attacks and is expected to play a crucial part in the Lions’ limited attacks on Sunday.
In other Tottenham news, Matt Upson believes Spurs must complete a deal for this defender before their rivals do.
