Sean Dyche: Everton sack decision to be made after takeover news – sources
Everton are unlikely to make a decision surrounding the future of Sean Dyche until a takeover is completed, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that any prospective new owners will want to make their own decision about the managerial position.
Pressure on Dyche’s job has begun to ramp up after a difficult start to the season as the team have suffered three defeats in their first three league games.
However, it has also been said that the manager has plenty of credit in the bank for the way he has dealt with off-field issues during his time at the club.
O’Rourke explained that it would be a “shock” if Dyche lost his job at this stage of the season, despite links to David Moyes.
With constant speculation regarding a takeover at Goodison Park after several bids have fallen through, it is said any new owners will want their own man in charge – whether that is Dyche or somebody else.

Since taking over from Frank Lampard as Everton boss in January 2023, Dyche has been forced to deal with constant issues outside of his control.
Financial issues, points deductions, a new stadium being built, and constant takeover talks have clouded his mission to keep the Toffees in the Premier League.
Despite all of that, however, he has kept the team comfortable and avoided regulation even when the odds were stacked against them.
As a result, there is a feeling at Goodison Park that the boss has earned their faith and trust that he will be able to turn around their current form.
A heavy 3-0 opening-day defeat to Brighton was followed by a 4-0 defeat to Tottenham, before they blew a two-goal lead in the 87th minute to lose 3-2 at home to Bournemouth.
These performances have put Dyche’s team at rock bottom of the league, having conceded ten goals in three games.
As a result, pressure on his long-term future at Goodison Park is growing, with many of the supporters beginning to show their frustration during home games.
With takeover rumours constantly swirling after Football Insider revealed John Textor could experience further delays to his bid, Dyche is likely to remain in charge for the immediate future.
