Everton fans have demanded The Friedkin Group fire Sean Dyche after a damning stat has emerged about their poor attacking run since the start of last season.

The Merseyside giants rank 17th out of all the clubs who have played in the Premier League during that time for the least number of open-play goals.

While their rivals Liverpool sit top of the ranking with 103, Dyche’s men have managed only 26 goals from open play.

It’s a statistic that has piled further pressure onto the Everton boss as Football Insider revealed that his position is becoming “untenable” due to the way fans are turning against him.

Everton look to be in a head-to-head race to hire former Chelsea boss Graham Potter as their next manager due to Dyche and Julen Lopetegui’s statuses being up in the air.

The club currently sits 16th in the Premier League table after playing 19 games, with only one point separating them and the relegation zone.

Fans of the club have expressed their frustration at Dyche after the news of their attacking abilities was revealed, with some claiming he’s an “awful manager.”

Others have made it clear that he should be “sacked for this stat alone,” as the pressure grows on him to turn things around.
