Sean Dyche to Rangers: ‘Ask every single player and they will tell you…incredible’
Rangers have been linked with a move for Sean Dyche as they search for a permanent manager following the sacking of Philippe Clement back in February.
The Scottish giants are actively exploring their managerial options, with interim boss Barry Ferguson currently in charge on a temporary basis.
Ferguson is under consideration for the full-time role at Rangers after an impressive stint, particularly in the Europa League – but another name firmly on the radar is former Burnley and Everton manager Dyche.
Football Insider exclusively revealed that new sporting director Kevin Thelwell would be open to appointing Dyche, having previously worked with him during their time together at Everton.
Meanwhile, former Burnley goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Dyche would be a “brilliant” replacement for Clement at Ibrox.
Now, Robinson has highlighted Dyche’s outstanding man management and his track record of overachieving with limited resources as key reasons he would be an ideal choice for Rangers.

Sean Dyche tipped to return Rangers to title contention alongside Celtic
During Dyche’s time at Goodison Park, Everton were hit with multiple points deductions and operated under significant financial restrictions due to profit and sustainability breaches. He was eventually sacked earlier this season.
Football Insider revealed back in February that Dyche has held talks with Rangers but is yet to decide on his next move with interest from multiple clubs,
Speaking on Football Insider’s Inside podcast, Robinson recalled his time under Dyche and explained that “every player” enjoyed their time and that it was an “incredible achievement” to reach Europe with Burnley as well as his time at Everton with a restricted budget.
“He’s a great man manager. I’ve got a lot of respect for Sean Dyche,” he told Football Insider.
“I enjoyed my time under him. And you speak to a lot of players that have played for him. Every single player will tell you that.
“You get the best out of the players in the squad that you’ve got. I think at Burnley, he did that regularly, season in, season out.
“Listen, in Burnley, we were playing in European football one season. I mean, that’s an incredible achievement on the budget that they’ve got and the size of the club that they are.
“I believe with better players in a different league, maybe he will adapt and he will be a top manager. I can see him going there and putting Rangers back up there with Celtic and challenging.
“[He] won’t be the choice of all supporters, but I don’t think it would be a bad one in all honesty.”
Despite strong interest from Rangers, Leicester City are also said to be lining up a move for Dyche as they prepare for life in the Championship following the expected departure of Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Rangers prioritise Vaclav Cerny deal amid 49ers Enterprises takeover

Following the expected completion of 49ers expected takeover of the club this summer, one player’s future must be sorted accorded to Alan Hutton.
He told Football Insider that Rangers must make the move for Vaclav Cerny permanent following his sensational form during his loan spell at Ibrox.
