Brendan Rodgers made the bizarre decision to rest Kristoffer Ajer for the game, keeping the 19-year-old on the bench for the first time since December.
The move backfired though, as his replacement Jack Hendry struggled throughout the match, and failed to form any kind of partnership with Dedryck Boyata.
Ajer has to be restored in the heart of the Hoops’ defence for the Bhoys’ next league match against Hamilton on Sunday and for the remainder of the season ahead, as he has proved that he is far too good to be left out of the side.
