Gaby Ruiz has revealed on social media that he has joined Leeds as their Head of European Recruitment.
The Spaniard has confirmed on his official Twitter account that he has completed a move to Elland Road and has changed his Twitter bio to show his new position.
He has previously worked at Championship rivals Middlesbrough under Victor Orta, who has recently become the new director of football at Leeds.
Ruiz is a well recognised commentator and football analyst in his homeland Spain and has moved into scouting recently.
The new Leeds man is currently at the European Under-21s Championship tournament and has posted team sheets on his Twitter over the past few days.
He has become the latest addition to the Elland Road backroom staff this summer as owner Andrea Radrizzani overses a major shake-up following Garry Monk’s resignation.
Thomas Christiansen has stepped in as the new Whites manager and will work alongside director football Orta.
Meanwhile, Julio Banuelos, Ivan Torres and Marcos Abad have all joined the club’s staff in various coaching roles.
Leeds will be hoping that all the changes at the club smoothly fall into place during the summer as they look to obtain promotion from the Championship.
In other Leeds news, the club’s supporters reacted on Twitter Pep Clotet’s departure.
