Sergio Reguilon ‘desperate’ to complete permanent Tottenham move
Tottenham will accept bids for left-back Sergio Reguilon before the 30 August transfer deadline, sources have told Football Insider.
The 27-year-old has fallen out of favour under Ange Postecoglou and is now ready to leave Spurs for good.
Sources say Reguilon is “desperate” to find a new club and refresh his career at a new permanent home.
Barcelona have been linked with a potential swoop for the six-cap Spain international, who started his career with Real Madrid.
Reguilon spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Man United and Brentford, amassing 28 total appearances – starting in 21 of those outings.
Reguilon set to leave as Tottenham start to trim squad
Tottenham have had a busy and expensive window with Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke the highlight acquisitions, and Spurs are now turning attention to shipping players out.
Ange Postecoglou and his transfer team want to balance the books and trim the squad before the 30 August deadline – and further signings cannot be ruled out.
Reguilion joined Spurs from Real Madrid in 2020 and he is out of contract at the club at the end of this season.

He has made just 67 appearances for the club – the last of which came more than two years ago.
Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies are the current options for Postecoglou at left-back.
