Shattering double injury blow for West Ham confirmed for clash v Man City
David Moyes has confirmed that neither Andy Carroll nor Chicharito will feature in Sunday’s game for West Ham against league leaders Manchester City.
The Hammers boss confirmed the news in his press conference and added that Winston Reid is to be assessed on Saturday ahead of the meeting with the league leaders.
The loss of both main strikers will fill West Ham supporters full of dread ahead of one of the toughest games of the season.
He also confirmed the long-term injury to Jose Fonte.
The new was reported by injury specialist Ben Dinnery on his official Twitter account.

Carroll missed West Ham’s 4-0 defeat courtesy of Everton on Wednesday due to picking up a knee injury in training ahead of the clash.

Reid featured in the loss to the Toffees, but had to be subbed off in the 77th minute with a suspected hamstring injury.
The two key players join a long list of injuries for the Hammers, with Moyes also unable to select James Collins and Sam Byram.
Ahead of meeting the undefeated Manchester City, the Hammers sit 18th in the league with 10 points from 14 games, two points adrift of safety.
