Aberdeen star Shay Logan has taken a brutal swipe at Celtic fans who had been trolling him on Twitter after he was sent off in the Dons’ 1-0 win over the Bhoys at Parkhead on Sunday.
Derek McInnes’ side put a downer on Celtic’s title celebrations by earning a surprise three points courtesy of Andrew Considine’s 47th minute goal before Logan was sent off in added time for appearing to hit out at Hoops ace Mikael Lustig.
On Sunday night, the Aberdeen defender took to his personal Twitter account to hit back at Celtic fans who had been trolling him after the game, mocking their appearance in comparison to his own.
“Imagine getting grief off a bunch of folk with fourth teeth between the six of them when u have nashers like this,” he said.

Football Insider verdict
Logan is somewhat of a pantomime villain for Celtic fans. He always manages to find himself in the middle of an uproar involving them having also tweeted earlier in the season to celebrate Bayern Munich scoring against Brendan Rodgers’ side in the Champions League. It was a good win for Aberdeen but that incident at the end certainly marred what was a solid three points for McInnes’ men. The right-back will now surely start next season with a suspension, which is not at all helpful when the Dons will be looking for yet another second-placed finish. Rangers will surely be stronger next season if Steven Gerrard can make the right signings at Ibrox, and that could put a lot of pressure on McInnes to continue his streak of runners-up spots. Next season is going to be very interesting and it could be McInnes’ last at Pittodrie if he feels as though the Dons are starting to fall backwards.
In other Celtic news, the Hoops have this 46-year-old lined up to succeed Brendan Rodgers if he quits the club.
