Alan Shearer delivers Twitter verdict on PL title race as Tottenham cruise past Arsenal

Alan Shearer believes Tottenham could have scored four against north London rivals Arsenal on Sunday afternoon at White Hart Lane.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side earned a 2-0 win against Arsene Wenger’s side, thanks to goals from Dele Alli and Harry Kane as they dominated proceedings on home soil.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, Match of the Day pundit and Premier League legend Shearer claimed “Spurs are not letting Chelsea rest just yet”.

Four points separate Spurs from Antonio Conte’s Blues at the summit of the Premier League, as Chelsea eased past Everton at Goodison Park by three goals to nil.
It saw Chelsea go seven points clear, piling the pressure on Spurs to secure three points against the Gunners but the result was never in doubt in north London.

Dele Alli gave his side the lead by capitalising on a loose ball from close range, as he slid the ball home into an empty net past Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the line.
Harry Kane doubled his side’s advantage just moments later, winning a penalty after a clumsy tackle from Gabriel before dusting himself off to slot the ball past Petr Cech from 12 yards.
With four games to go, Spurs now remain four points behind Chelsea as the Blues continue to strengthen their hold on the Premier League trophy.
