Sheffield United may have next ‘Maguire’ on their hands amid doc reveal – Paddy Kenny
Sheffield United may have the next Harry Maguire on their hands after Slavisa Jokanovic’s meticulous research into the club’s youth stars.
That is according to ex-Blades legend Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after the Star reported the Serb’s preparation on 5th July.
They claim that the newly-appointed United boss compiled a file on the club’s most promising youth prospects before taking charge in May.

The Blades handed debuts to a number of academy stars last season including Femi Seriki, Daniel Jebison and Iliman Ndiaye.
Kenny hailed Jokanvoic for his thoroughness and predicted that youngsters could continue to play a prominent role for United next season.
“You’d like to think this shows he’s going to be about for a while,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“If these youth players hear that, they’ll know they could get a chance to come back and produce for the club.
“Sheffield United over the years have been known for getting a lot of young players through the youth system. You’ve got Phil Jagielka, Kyle Walker, Harry Maguire.
“It seems like a positive move from the manager that he’s putting these files together and having a look at the young lads. They might get a chance at some point and add to that list of players.“

United begin their Championship campaign against Birmingham City on 7th August.
They were relegated at the end of 2020-21 after amassing just 23 points all season.
In other news, pundit claims quirk in Sheffield United star’s contract could see him leave for bargain fee this summer.
