‘Shocking’ – Leeds fans make feelings clear after major Lukas Nmecha update
Lukas Nmecha has been linked with Leeds for a number of weeks now, and supporters have made their feelings known after a major update.
The Elland Road outfit are preparing their squad for a season in the Premier League, after they were promoted from the Championship as title winners.
Daniel Farke has been given a budget of over £100m this summer to help bring in the quality of players needed to avoid an immediate return to the second tier.
Leeds, along with Burnley and Sunderland, are bidding to become the first promoted sides in three years to beat the drop.
Last season, Leicester, Ipswich, and Southampton were all relegated comfortably, with 17th-placed Tottenham 13 points clear of the bottom three.

Leeds confirm the signing of Nmecha
On Sunday (15 June), Leeds confirmed the signing of Nmecha from Wolfsburg on a free, with his contract in Germany running out next month (1 July).
The 26-year-old has joined on an initial two-year deal, and is the first confirmed addition to Farke’s squad this summer.
Nmecha has been at Wolfsburg for the past four years, but only managed three Bundesliga goals last season, during his 19 appearances.

The forward came through the Manchester City academy, but only played twice for the senior team before being sold in 2021.
At international level, Nmecha was capped by every single England youth team up to under-21 level, before switching his allegiances to Germany, with whom he has seven senior appearances.
Leeds fans underwhelmed by Nmecha
Leeds fans are expecting a busy summer of transfer activity, and some have been left slightly underwhelmed by their first official incoming of the off-season.
Nmecha is far from a bad addition, but he is probably not going to be the difference between whether Farke’s side remain in the Premier League or not.
One Leeds supporter labelled it a ‘shocking signing’, with others feeling that the German may be coming in as a replacement for Patrick Bamford or Mateo Joseph.
