Celtic fans have taken to social media to praise their former manager Neil Lennon after he masterminded Hibernian’s second win of the season at Ibrox, as they defeated Rangers 2-1.
The result managed to make some supporters briefly forget the Hoops’ poor performance in their 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock.
Rangers remain 14 points behind the Hoops in the league – albeit with a game in hand – with Aberdeen now clear in second place, eight points behind Celtic.

Lennon won multiple trophies as both player and manager with the Hoops, before leaving the club in 2014.
Back to the current Bhoys manager, as Brendan Rodgers will have been extremely annoyed with his team’s performance in the 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock.
The Hoops were knocked out of their stride thanks to first-half injuries suffered by Dedryck Boyata and Kristoffer Ajer, and it wasn’t a surprise when the Rugby Park took the lead thanks to the game’s outstanding player – Youssouf Mulumbu – and comfortably held on to win the game.
Rodgers has to pick his side up for some big matches in the weeks ahead, with cup ties against Partick Thistle and Zenit and a top of the table clash against Aberdeen on the agenda.
