Midfielder axed in six changes: Celtic best possible XI v Hearts

COMMENT

Celtic, one week after clinching the league title against bitter rivals Rangers, return to league action on Sunday when they Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers will have some interesting decisions to make with his starting line-up, as the game is relatively meaningless for the Bhoys in the grand scheme of things.

The league has been won, and the game should be used to gain revenge for the 4-0 loss to Hearts in December, which saw the Hoops’ British record 69 match unbeaten run come to an end, in a shock loss which the Hoops took a while to get over.

The game should also be used to give some squad players some much needed game time, and perhaps some players could even fight their way into the squad for the Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell in a few weeks’ time, with a good performance against Craig Levein’s side at Tynecastle.

The Bhoys should make six changes from the side which defeated Rangers.
