Rangers director of football Mark Allen is likely to oversee another bid overhaul of the first-team squad in the summer and it may be decided by who is the manager.

Graeme Murty is only expected to remain in charge until this season ends and back-to-back defeats against Celtic and Kilmarnock have cast further doubts over whether he is the right man to lead the Light Blues forward.

Whoever is in charge for the first day of the next season is likely to have a completely new-look squad to boot and here at Football Insider we reckon that a number of first-teamers may leave Ibrox, whether it be because of their loan deals ending or major interest from overseas.

One of those players who could go is Alfredo Morelos after big-money bids were placed on the centre-forward from the Chinese Super League in January and February.

If the Light Blues cash in on the Colombian, that could lead to there being plenty of funds available to build a team that can continue to progress to where the club needs to be – at the top.
