Premier League fans have often been frustrated with Sky Sports due to their power when it comes to kick-off times, as fans have often been left in difficult situations by the timings of televised games.
However, their latest exploits on social media will surely have fans up and down the country in bemusement following a random communication from one of their official accounts on Saturday.
The Sky Sports News account posted on X at 4:30pm, and their post featured a weird message from a potential hacker alongside some computer code.
“I know it’s hacked by sold my supply,” the post read in strange fashion.
“Creator fees are enough, play it.”
The message was promptly deleted by the administrators of Sky Sports’ account, who seemingly appear to have regained full control of the account, but it certainly made for a surprise moment during the games.
Premier League fans react to strange X post
Premier League fans are often quick to jump on social media mishaps, and that was certainly the case for Saturday’s incident, as talk of Sky Sports’ post quickly spread across X.
Supporters were unsurprisingly keen to ridicule the TV company for the message, with one fan joking that they would be regetting the password that they chose to set for the account.

Fans have become used to seeing the Premier League run like a well-oiled machine, but for once, that wasn’t the case this weekend.
