Newcastle United stars Jamaal Lascelles, Rob Elliot and Matt Ritchie have been named among the top 25 players in Sky Sports’ Power Rankings.
The table, available on Sky Sports’ website, tracks the form of players across their last five Premier League matches, ranking them accordingly.
It is currently topped by Sergio Aguero, whose hat-trick against Watford in Manchester City’s 6-0 demolition of the Hornets sees him joint leader in the race for the golden boot.
Newcastle, who have clocked up three straight victories and find themselves in fourth place in the Premier League table, have one representative in the top 10, in the shape of club captain Jamaal Lascelles.
The 23-year-old has been the match winner for two successive matches, finding the back of the net from corners against both Swansea and Stoke City, as well as helping the Magpies concede just one goal in their last three outings.
Up next for the Magpies is goalkeeper Rob Elliot in 19th place, who, like Lascelles, has played a key role in keeping the opposition at bay in recent weeks.
He made a series of impressive stops to deny the Potters on Saturday, and although he was eventually beaten by a curling Xherdan Shaqiri strike, his efforts have seen him ranked among the top 20.
However, the fact that the Republic of Ireland international is positioned higher than 25th placed Matt Ritchie is likely to surprise the Geordie faithful, who have seen the winger notch up four assists this season, including two against Stoke.
