Sky Sports pundit: This 27-year-old would be the perfect signing for Everton

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has identified Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin as the “perfect” signing for Everton.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder has struggled for game time under Jose Mourinho at the English giants this season.
This has seen him linked with a move away from Old Trafford in January with both the Toffees and West Brom the two named sides in for him.
He had previously made the move to United in a £27million deal from Southampton in the summer of 2015 and Sky Sports pundit Parlour believes Schneiderlin would be a great addition for any side.
“I thought he was a very good signing when they got him off Southampton,” started Parlour speaking on Tuesday morning’s Sky Sports News.

“But it just hasn’t worked out for him and some players are like that when they go to clubs. It just doesn’t work out for them, so whoever’s going to get Schneiderlin, he’d be a great signing.
“For Everton he’d be perfect, West Brom, who we heard about there, he can definitely bring something to your team. Whoever gets him, he’s a very good signing.”
Schneiderlin has played just eight times this campaign, but with 127 appearances in the Premier League he still boasts plenty of experience of the English top flight.
It is believed that Everton have made the central midfield position their priority this window, with 18-year-old Tom Davies starting in the centre of the park against Southampton on Monday.
The Toffees are currently battling valiantly in the league and they are the closest team behind Manchester United with nine points currently separating the sixth and seventh placed sides.
This could be key to the Toffees obtaining Schneiderlin, who will be keen to remain playing at the top end of the Premier League.
