Sky Sports pundit: Two reasons why Liverpool could lose to Leicester
By Will Butcher
Ray Wilkins is expecting Liverpool to claim the three points on Monday night but says the Foxes can spring a surprise thanks to the unpredictability surrounding Leicester and the visitor’s poor defence.
Jurgen Klopp’s Merseyside giants travel to the King Power Stadium in search of just their second Premier League win in seven games against manager-less Leicester.
Wilkins told Sky Sports’ Premier League Daily Show that Leicester’s unpredictability and Liverpool’s defensive record could see the Foxes defy the odds and secure victory.
“I think tonight’s game is tailor-made for Liverpool,” Wilkins claimed. “They’ll be ready to fly. The playing surface is always wonderful at the King Power.
“However, we never know what Leicester will turn up this season, while Liverpool have been defensively poor. They’re 14 points behind Chelsea and Leicester can score goals.”

Liverpool have conceded 30 league goals this season, more than any other side in the Premier League’s top seven. Dejan Lovren and Simon Mignolet in particular have had their critics this season, although Lovren has been out out for the past two games.
Just one clean sheet in their last six league games could see the likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani profit.
The Reds will be hoping that they can secure their 15th top-flight win of the season, with three points enough to take them into third past Arsenal and Manchester City.
However, captain Jordan Henderson will miss out through a foot injury, after picking up the injury during a training session on Friday.
A loss for Klopp’s side will be a huge blow to their Premier League chances, as Man City and Arsenal would remain above them in the top four with a game in hand after Monday night’s clash.
In other Liverpool news, Roberto Firmino has claimed this attacking duo are unique.
