Sky Sports pundit predicts Aston Villa v QPR, backs 27-year-old to be the difference
By Dominic Toner
David Prutton believes that Aston Villa may just edge QPR in their upcoming Championship clash and has backed Jonathan Kodjia to be the difference.
The Midlands giants host QPR in the league on Tuesday night and will be looking to continue their recent great form.
Steve Bruce’s side have won six of their last seven games in the Championship and have climbed up to 11th in the table.
Villa forward Kodjia has played a vital role in their success this season and has been in particularly good form lately.
The 27-year-old has scored four goals in his last three games, including a brace in a 2-0 win over Norwich on Saturday.

Sky Sports pundit Prutton is expecting the attacker to be the match winner once again in a close match against 15th-placed QPR.
“This is a bit of a coin toss,” Prutton told Sky Sports. “QPR could defend well and hit the hosts on the break while Villa can beat anyone off the park when on song.
“Jonathan Kodjia got the winner against QPR earlier this season and he looks to be enjoying working with Steve Bruce. He just might prove the difference again.”
Villa’s most optimistic supporters are dreaming of a late surge into the play-off places, but they would surely need to win all of their remaining games and have a large slice of luck to make up the 10-point deficit.
Bruce is more than likely build his side for next season and Kodjia has been one of the standout players this season.
He completed a move to Villa Park in the summer transfer window from Bristol City in a deal that could reach £15million.
Kodjia has scored an impressive 17 goals in 35 appearances this season and has been a real plus point this campaign.
