Sky Sports pundit predicts Aston Villa v Reading clash
By Dominic Toner
David Prutton has predicted Aston Villa to draw when they face Reading on Saturday in the Championship.
The Midlands giants host Reading for a league fixture and will be looking to continue their good form.
Steve Bruce’s side have won seven of their last nine Championship games and their only defeat came away to Huddersfield, while they dre
w 1-1 with Burton at the weekend.
They are up to 11th in the league table, but appear to have left it too late to make the play-off positions.

Meanwhile, Japan Stam’s Reading are fourth-placed in the league and look set to be involved in the play-offs at the end of the season.
They did suffer a rare blip in their last game, though, as they were crushed 7-1 away to Reading and will be keen for a response.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton has tipped a 1-1 scoreline between Villa and Reading in the weekend’s meeting.
“You’d like to think we’d see a huge reaction from Reading following their annihilation at Norwich,“ Prutton told Sky Sports. “However, faced with a Villa team who have been Jekyll and Hyde, you can’t be too sure.
“Steve Bruce has made it clear that next season’s target is promotion and nothing less, so finishing the season strongly will only help for the forthcoming campaign. I expect to see a response from Reading, but Villa will be a tough nut to crack.”
Villa managed to win the previous meeting with Reading this season 2-1 as Jordan Ayew scored a dramatic 90th minute penalty.
They were expected to compete for promotion this campaign following their relegation from the Premier League, but Bruce has taken time to settle at the club following his mid-season appointment.
The experienced manager appears to be finally getting the best out of his players and they could be pushing for promotion next season.
