Sky Sports pundit, David Prutton has predicted Wolves visit to the Macron Stadium in the Championship on Saturday against Bolton Wanderers and reckons it will be an away win.
It’s Nuno Espirito Santo’s side first match since they confirmed their promotion to the Premier League last time out against Birmingham City and the former Nottingham Forest and Leeds United midfielder questions whether they will now see a dip in form.
But Prutton doesn’t think that will happen in this match and has said it will be a 2-0 win for Wolves.
“You wonder if Wolves will dip a little now they’ve secured promotion. It happened to Brighton last season and Bolton will certainly be hoping it happens to Nuno’s side. I don’t think he’ll let that happen though. Away win,” said the ex-midfielder on Sky Sports.
Two points is all that stands between Phil Parkison’s men and the bottom three – but they have lost four of their last five league games so form is well and truly against them.
Football Insider verdict:
We’d have to agree with Prutton here. We can’t see Bolton getting anything from Nuno’s table-toppers who are likely to be on a high after confirming their promotion and can play with freedom and without pressure knowing their future for next season is set in stone. But Bolton are fighting for their survival in the division so Nuno’s side are unlike to have it easy. Wolves fans will be in party mode on Saturday and will hope that the Trotters don’t dampen their spirits.
