Sky Sports pundit Andy Walker has given his prediction for Celtic’ upcoming clash against Hearts on Sunday.
Writing in his column on the Sky Sports website, Walker has tipped the Hoops to continue on their winning ways with a 2-1 win at Tynecastle.
His tip for ‘key player’ is Old Firm title party hero Odsonne Edouard, who he believes will be “worth the reported £6million-£7million required to get him signed up permanently”.
The Hoops will be looking for revenge against the team which ended their unbeaten run in incredible style back in December, as the Hoops crashed to a 4-0 loss, in one of the shock results of this and or any other season.
The Hoops have won their other two games against the Edinburgh side this season, winning 4-1 and 3-1.
Football Insider verdict
This game won’t be easy to predict, as the Hoops may well be in ‘holiday mode’ after clinching the league title against bitter rivals Rangers last week, and indeed, many of the first-team have been on holiday in Spain this week. Brendan Rodgers may well decide to make changes to his team, and there could be starts for the likes of Scott Sinclair and Patrick Roberts, who have been on the fringes in recent weeks, but who are more than good enough to get the Hoops the three points at Tynecastle, although you also need to take into account the fact that Hearts have been unbeaten since returning to the renovated Tynecastle stadium. However, if the Hoops play to the best of their abilities, even with many changes they should have more enough quality to defeat Craig Levein’s side and end their away travels this season with a victory, and revenge after losing to Hearts back in December.
