Sky Sports pundit Scott Minto believes Tottenham ace Harry Kane has not been missed by his side leading up to their FA Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea.
Striker Kane, who injured his ankle during the previous round of the competition in March, returned to action during the 4-0 win against Watford at the start of this month.
In his absence, Spurs secured three league wins on the bounce against Southampton, Burnley and Swansea.
Kane started his side’s previous fixture when his first-half goal helped the title-chasing outfit comfortably beat Bournemouth 4-0 at White Hart Lane.
Now, they will be looking to take on leaders Chelsea on Saturday evening at Wembley, knowing a win here could also boost their chances in the league.
“Right now it is Spurs who are the form side,” Minto told Coral’s YouTube channel.
“Seven straight wins, their home form has been absolutely fantastic, Harry Kane is back and it looks like he has never been away. They didn’t even miss him when he was away.
“I think this [game] is going to go all the way – you wouldn’t expect me to say anything other than a Chelsea win on penalties.”
Versatile attacker Son Heung-Min was perhaps the standout performer for his team while Kane was on the sidelines with an injury.
In his last five matches, Son has found the back of the net on five occasions as he will be looking to continue that good form against the Blues.
Despite his injuries over the course of the season, Kane has still managed to score an impressive 25 goals in 31 matches in all competitions.
He scored an FA Cup hat-trick against Championship outfit Fulham in February as the England international will be looking to add to his goal tally in what is a crucial period of the season for his team.
In other Tottenham news, Jermain Jenas believes this Spurs 28-year-old is the biggest miss from the PFA Team of the Year.
