Sky Sports report Leeds fighting to hang on to four senior stars
By Amir Mir
Leeds United face a battle to hang on to key quartet Pontus Jansson, Charlie Taylor, Chris Wood and Ronaldo Vieira in the summer, according to a report.
Sky Sports detailed the five points for the Yorkshire club to rectify for next season after they missed out on a play-off place this season.
One of the points discussed were the players who could leave Elland Road in the summer, with striker Wood amongst the names mentioned.
It is stated that Wood is the “most obvious name” on the list after he struck 30 goals in all competitions for the Yorkshire club this season.
He became the sixth players in Leeds’ history to reach that feat and it is said that sort of form “won’t go unnoticed by Premier League clubs”.

The other player named was left-back Taylor, who is out of contract in the summer added with the fact that he refused to play the club’s final match of the season against Wigan last Sunday.
As a result, Sky Sports report how the club’s homegrown talent is now “certain” to leave Elland Road in the summer.
Midfielder Vieira, 18, was the youngest Leeds player to earn regular game time under manager Garry Monk this term.
He is another player who could “attract interest” as supporters will be hoping the club can keep hold of their star players so they can make another promotion push.
Perhaps the most popular player with supporters this season was centre-back Jansson, who was on loan from Italian side Torino.
It is said, he will sign a permanent deal at Elland Road after a successful campaign but is being linked with a big-money move to Premier League side Southampton.
In other Leeds news, this is what needs to happen for club attacker to extend his contract.
